Madison Avenue and Vine Street

Happy Saturday, and welcome to my blog! Grab your cup of coffee and check out the card I created for this week's Utah Divas International sketch. You can find links to all of the cards and designers here. This month's sketches were designed by team member Elizabeth Harris. Hasn't she done a fabulous job with the sketches? Here is the sketch for the week, DIVASC225.

And here is my card! It uses some sweet things from the Sale-a-Bration catalog! (Products marked with * were free!)

Here's the recipe~
  • Stamps ~ Madison Avenue*
  • Papers ~ Whisper White, Raspberry Ripple, Pretty in Pink, Lucky Limeade
  • Inks ~ Pretty in Pink, Lucky Limeade
  • Accessories ~ Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon, Vine Street embossing folder*, Big Shot
This is also part of a color challenge over at Create With Connie & Mary, CCMC236.  Isn't it a great combination?

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great weekend, and I'd love to hear your comments before you go!

Blessings,
Barbara

  12. Love your card! what size is the embossed area? I used 5 1/4" x 4" and my embossing folder wouldn't fit the whole length with the pattern going vertical. I hope that makes sense? Can you give the dimensions to me please. thanks.

    1. I embossed only the top half of the paper in the folder. Then I carefully lined it up in the folder to emboss the bottom half. I hope that makes sense.
