After a rather lengthy break, I am looking forward to getting back to blogging! I had two months of rest and relaxation, but I have missed sharing with you, my readers! After the busyness of the holidays, January has been a much welcomed slower pace. I was able to attend Stampin! Up!'s Leadership training in Houston and have come home with wonderful new ideas to share with you.
I made two cards to swap while I was in Houston, and this is the first of them.
Here are the details ~
- Stamps ~ Language of Love, Take Care
- Inks ~ Black Staz-On, Real Red, Smoky Slate
- Papers ~ Whisper White, Red Glimmer Paper, Basic Black
- Accessories ~ sponge dauber, Stampin' dimensionals, Basic Black marker, small heart punch, mini glue dots
Here's a peek at the inside of the card. I just couldn't throw away that extra heart!
Those of us who attended Leadership were lucky enough to receive this stamp set as an all attendee give away on the last day of the event. It is in the "Celebrate the Everyday" catalog, Wood 133074 $16.95 or Clear 133077 $12.95. If you don't have a catalog, I will be happy to send you one. Just send me an email!
The inspiration for this card came from a post on Facebook that pictured a tree with shiny red Christmas balls
and a snowy background. The idea to make it into a card just popped
into my head. I love it when that happens, especially since my mojo
seemed to take a break for quite a while! Where do you find
inspiration? I'd love to hear!
Blessings,
Barbara
